The seventh season trailer has Bosch once again unravelling the threads of a killer’s crime, but the real question is how far will he go to serve justice? Based on Connolly’s 2014 novel, The Burning Room, and the real-life arson attacks that inspired the book, the new series finds Bosch risking himself and the people around him to hunt down the killer of a ten year old girl. With the usual mix of action, politics and the ever burning question of how far are the good guys willing to go to solve a case, the series appears to be on the right track to go out with a bang....

PREDICTED WEEKEND BOX OFFICE Last week, the new horror film The Rite starring Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins possessed the box office and took the number one spot with $15 million. It unseated defending champ, No Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, and beat out fellow new release The Mechanic starring Jason Statham. But the film will have a hard time repeating its success this weekend with two highly-anticipated new movies scheduled for release, including the college-based thriller The Roommate and the James Cameron produced 3D action-thriller Sanctum....

Bravo announced a year round development and production slate, kicking-off with the series pick up of War of the Wives (working title), a new competition reality series playing couples against each other, for a six episode cycle. In addition, five new series in development have been ordered, focusing on both competition reality and personality driven series, which have become the cornerstones of the network’s recent success. Series in development includes Bravo’s entry into new territory with a talk show format, and a series of stand-up comedy specials featuring the industry’s most renowned comediennes....

Last week at Comic-Con, Marvel Studios revealed that the Captain America: The First Avenger sequel is titled Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Today, we have word that Anthony Mackie is in talks to play Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon. The character was first introduced in 1969, and is one of the first African-American superheroes. Marvel’s Black Panther debuted before Falcon, although he hailed from the fictional African country of Wakanda. His power comes from a suit that gives him super strength and allows him to fly, along with the telepathic ability to communicate with birds....

The Big Bad Wolf comes home to Blu-ray and DVD June 14th, with an alternative cut and all-new special features Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke reimagines the frightful scares of the classic Big Bad Wolf fairy tale with Red Riding Hood, which hits Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday, June 14th. Amanda Seyfried stars as the beautiful young Valerie, a girl on the verge of womanhood who has fallen into an intense love triangle just as her village begins to fear the return of a vicious werewolf....

A Clockwork Orange is a film that continues to split viewers and critics alike, even more than 50 years after its release. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland feature more Spider-Man costumes than Spider-Man has ever had before. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man films focus on a single costume while Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 feature only two Spider-Man costumes (aside from an early homemade suit). Holland’s three Spider-Man films, on the other hand, have Peter Parker wearing eight. The latest MCU film Spider-Man: No Way Home introduces the Black & Gold and Integrated suits....

Apple Inc. is planning to put movies in the cloud, reports The Los Angeles Times. Representatives of the iPhone and iPad maker have been meeting with studios to finalize deals that would allow consumers to buy movies through iTunes and access them on any Apple device. The service is expected to launch in late 2011 or early 2012. The talks come as the first movies from the multi-studio venture known as Ultraviolet are launching this week: Warner Bros....

On September 2, 2001, Cartoon Network unveiled Adult Swim, a programming block which would go on to receive widespread interest in large part due to its mature humor and genre-blending programming. In a way, Adult Swim was a precursor to what is now known as meme humor, where the source of the joke is shaped by absurd and surreal elements that twist stories to unconventional and uncanny forms. The network would go on to become internet sensations, with shows like Robot Chicken, The Eric Andre Show, and Rick and Morty, all sharing elements with these absurdist sensibilities....

Police in Florida are on the lookout for Bam Margera after the Jackass star vanished from the rehab facility where he’d been staying. As Margera’s rehab stay is court-mandated, he is not permitted to leave the facility without permission, but Margera reportedly left the building around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and hasn’t been seen since. Per TMZ, Broward County detectives are asking anyone with information on Margera’s whereabouts to reach out with tips....
