The second half of season one will now premiere on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:00PM ET/PT, the channel announced today. Director Joe Wright is locking down the cast of his new project Anna Karenina, with Saoirse Ronan, Kelly Macdonald, Matthew Macfadyen, Olivia Williams, Andrea Riseborough, and Domhnall Gleeson all joining this adaptation. Keira Knightley and Jude Law have already committed to Anna Karenina, with Keira Knightley portraying the title character, while Jude Law will play her husband. The movie Emily the Criminal managed to be a compelling thriller without the lead character using firearms to blast her way through the story. In the film, released last year by director John Patton Ford, Aubrey Plaza stars as a young woman who launches a new career in crime when she finds herself deeply in debt with student loans. While many others in her position would be packing heat due to the dangers of the job, Plaza’s Emily goes in without guns, making for some rather tense scenes....

Warner Bros. is getting into the spirits with it’s December 5 release of Beerfest. In a story from The Digital Bits, this title will be released in both rated and unrated versions. After spending many years at just the rumor stage, Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder are set to finally reprise their roles in Beetlejuice 2. The first movie cemented Keaton’s status as one of Hollywood’s favorite nuts and most lovably devious and quirky performers.
