The legal battle is heating up between former lovers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Per Yahoo, Pitt is currently suing Jolie after she sold her half of their shared wine company, Miraval, to a “stranger,” a move Pitt says was a deliberate act of harm. In a court filing with the Superior Court of California, Pitt’s lawyers claim that Jolie’s goal was to “inflict harm on Pitt. Jolie knew and intended that [businessman Yuri] Shefler and his affiliates would try to control the business Pitt had built and undermine Pitt’s investment in Miraval....

Brooke Shields will star in the NBC one-hour pilot, Lipstick Jungle. The show is based on Candace Bushnell’s novel about three rich, power-hungry professional women in New York. Castlevania season 1 just arrived on Netflix and, as it turns out, the streaming service feels quite confident in what they have. Usually, networks and streaming services wait a little bit to see how a show does before giving the green light to more episodes. But that is not the case with Castlevania. FilmNation Entertainment has acquired the feature film rights to the popular children’s book A Tale Dark & Grimm by author Adam Gidwitz. FilmNation will partner with Marissa McMahon of Kamala Films to finance the development and produce alongside FilmNation Entertainment’s Aaron Ryder and Karen Lunder. Jon Gunn (Mercy Streets, My Date With Drew) and John Mann (Mercy Streets) are confirmed to adapt the screenplay.
